2nd Annual Quattro de Mayo, May 15th @ Goodspeed Performance in the Scottsdale Airpark

This is being put on by the Arizona Chapter of the Audi Club North America aka AZ ACNA and all Audi owners are welcome to attend. Admission is free for all.

With the help of Goodspeed Performance and Audi North Scottsdale, AZ ACNA is proud to have this event again riding on the success of last years Quattro de Mayo.

This event is to promote, encourage, and generate membership in the local AZ chapter of the ACNA. We will have membership forms and club information for those interested in joining. Yearly membership is $44 (two and three year terms are discounted rates), however, ACNA HQ will be giving away free complimentary 1 year memberships to all Audi owners that attend that are not members yet.

Show n Shine (bring your cleaned up and shiny Audi) to the event, park it, and enjoy all of the people and cars.
BBQ (burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks provided)
Goodspeed will be doing APR trial flashes for those that sign up. So if you have a car that qualifies, you can get a FREE 6 hour trial software flash from APR to test out and see if you really like that extra HP and TQ that a new software flash provides. Spots will be limited for this. You can email Jon@goodspeedperformance.com to see if your car applies for this. It takes about 30-40 minutes to do each flash thus spots being limited.

Raffle Prizes.
Everyone who enters with a car will get a raffle ticket that will qualify them to be entered into the Raffle that will be held at 2pm. If you aren’t there then you don’t get the prize!!

Tickets for the ACNA 2010 raffle – with a chance to win a 2011 Audi S4 on December 15, 2010 – will also be available for purchase at the 2nd Annual Quattro De Mayo event.

Thunderhill Raceway Event!

WELCOME TO AUDI-TRON
The ACNA Western Regional
Performance Driving, Safety Seminar and Eco Driving Challenge

The event will be managed by the Golden Gate Chapter with the support and involvement of the Northwest, Southern California, Arizona, Utah and Rocky Mountain chapters of the ACNA. May 28-29-30.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy Thunderhill Raceway Park just off I-5 near Willows, California over the Memorial Day Weekend, and still leave time for your own celebration on Monday. This event will run for two days over Memorial Day Weekend. We have prepared a standard Driving and Safety training (HPDE), combined with an Eco driving skills training and challenge (TDI vs Hybrid) to kick it up a notch or two. We’ll have activities on Friday evening, and throughout the weekend. Friday evening will include a BBQ, track walk and even more. Camping at the track will be available Thursday through Saturday. Saturday and Sunday will be the Eco driving and safety seminars & HPDE. A spectacular banquet is being planned for Saturday evening. Memorial Day is the Monday (May 31) following the event which will provide everyone with an opportunity to spend an extra day seeing the sights of Northern California or a casual drive home.

Great opportunity to meet with over 100 other Audi Club Members on a terrific 3.0 mile track and learn new driving skills and learn more about the engineering built into your car. In car instruction is provided for all attendees. Whether this is the first time you have been on a track or have been many times before you will have a blast and leave a better driver and with a huge smile on your face.

The all -inclusive price for the event is $490. This includes welcome BBQ, track walk, all printed learning materials, Saturday night banquet, auction, lunch both days, in car instruction, event memento, and a lot more. Wuste 2010 Las Vegas, NV June 4-6

This is a very casual Audi/VW/Euro event gaining some big recognition. This is not an Audi club specific event but many people from Arizona are making the 2-3 day trip to Vegas to attend. The official website is www.wuste.com. Book your own reservations for the hotel. There is not price of admission for any of the events and this isn’t a spotless type of car show. The point is for a casual fun weekend in Vegas centered around cars. There will be caravan’s departing from the Phoenix area on Friday the 4th in the morning.
